Moving along

Been writing the last couple of days. Yay.

It's going pretty well but I've got to figure out how to keep out of my own way.  I am moving along with the romance, and so far, even though my heroine and hero have not yet met they are converging towards the interception point fairly easily.

Show, don't tell. That is the goal. It's harder than you'd think.

I'm trying not to get bogged down by adverbs, or use 'was' and 'were' more than four times per page. Also, I'm trying to make this thing interesting without being too obvious or too mysterious. <sigh - Why do I want to be a writer, again?>

And meanwhile the Earth is whispering in my ear, trying to seduce me to come back to her story. I keep telling her I'll be returning soon, but for something that is over 4.5 billion years old she's strangely impatient.

But I am writing. Good for me. :-)
